How We Handle Corrections
Let’s take a closer look at how we handle corrections.
Significant Errors
For material factual errors, we:
- Correct the error immediately;
- Add a correction notice at the top of the article;
- Update the article timestamp if appropriate;
- Note the correction in any social media posts about the article.
Minor Errors
For typos, formatting issues, or minor inaccuracies:
- Correct the error inline;
- No correction notice is added for purely cosmetic changes;
- Update the ‘Last Updated’ timestamp.

Our Review Process
When an error is reported:
- Editorial team reviews the claim;
- We verify information from reliable sources;
- If confirmed, correction is implemented within 24 hours;
- Reporter is notified (if applicable).
Transparency
We maintain transparency in our corrections process:
- All significant corrections are documented
- We do not silently edit articles without disclosure
- Correction history is preserved
- We acknowledge errors openly
